It's not Superman, it's Nature woman

Updated: Nov 4, 2019

Yesterday's workshop was spent in the garden exploring some ideas that young children might like to do in Nature. We had a chance to plant some sunflower seeds, some for the playschool and some for families. We also had photographs of native birds, flowers and butterflies to explore (all sourced from www.biodiversity.ie) and available under the Resources folder to use at home too. Children came and went as they wished and tried out different parts that looked interesting. I also got to hear some great ideas and their own experiences with planting and was given another list of different seeds I should bring for further investigation...The big question of the day is where the sunflowers will grow best and how important it will be

to look after them so the birds can eat their seeds in Autumn !!!!!!!
